Writeout LLC ("Writeout," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RIOT game show app and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials via Firebase Authentication. Sign-in with Apple or Google provides limited profile data from those providers.
Gameplay data: Prompt responses, votes cast, scores, and leaderboard rankings during live shows.
Payment information: If you receive prizes or make in-app purchases, we collect the information necessary to process transactions. Card data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Device and usage data: Device type, OS version, IP address, crash reports, and usage patterns to improve the app.
Communications: If you contact us, we retain those records to respond to your inquiry.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
We retain account data as long as your account is active. Gameplay history is retained for up to 2 years. You may request deletion at any time.
We implement reasonable technical safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and server access controls. No system is completely secure.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact legal@writeout.co if you believe your child has submitted data.
To exercise these rights, email legal@writeout.co. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
